Joe Peartree
Bushcraft Instructor
Joe is a real "foodie". He has spent 16 years as a professional chef whilst always having one foot in the natural world. His food utilises what is seasonal and local including items that can be foraged from the wild. Tired of being stuck in a hot kitchen whilst looking out the window onto a beautiful day, Joe decided to get qualified in countryside management which progressively sparked his love of bushcraft, the ancient way of living and survival practices. This eventually led to a career change to teach others these fascinating subjects.
Joe is currently studying primitive technology, survival techniques and tracking, trapping and hunting in an effort to broaden his level of expertise.
